Putting inclusive values at the heart of school development
Surrey County Council/Babcock4S have initiated a project drawing on the fourth edition of the 'Index for Inclusion: a guide to school development led by inclusive values, following very promising work with the Index in Norfolk schools (see Norfolk pages on this website). The aim of the project is to build on the success of Surrey in raising achievements in schools so that it effectively reaches all children and young people. The project starts with two days of training involving forty-eight schools on 14th and 15th of January 2016. Over the course of the year these pages will be filled with accounts and photographs of children, young people and adults (staff, governors, parents), working with the ideas of the Index for Inclusion in Surrey schools and their environments.
